Glenora Barn Raising Lunch and Auction
Sunday 30 October, Cumulus Up 12pm-4pm

Legendary chefs George Biron and Cheong Liew are coming out of retirement for a very special event: the Glenora Barn Raising Lunch
at Cumulus Up on 30 October. Also joining George and Cheong in the kitchen will be Andrew McConnell and Casey McDonald
(head chef Cumulus).

All money raised at the charity lunch will go towards Glenora Heritage Produce’s campaign to build a new shed on their
Central Victorian property.

George Biron, a long-time friend of Glenora Heritage Produce owners Jill McCalman and Andrew Wood, the driving force behind
the event has enlisted the help of the who’s who of the hospitality and wine industries to make this special event happen.

The All Star line up of chefs will be serving up a stunning array of dishes to enjoyed by a lucky few. In keeping with the dining theme
at Cumulus Up, the focus will be on shared plates—lots of them.  Featued produce includes Glenora Heritage Produce herbs and
vegetables (obviously), McIvor Farm Free-Range Pork, Holy Goat Cheese, Phillippa’s Bread, Will Studd’s cheese,
even some wild game from Central Victoria especially caught for the lunch.

Max Allen and Christopher Hayes (Eat + Drink) will be in charge of the wine. Expect to see bottles of Jasper Hill, Tyrrell’s,
Yeringberg, Bass Phillip, to name a few, gracing the tables on the day.

In conjunction with the lunch will be a week-long Glenora Barn Raising Auction held on eBay at www.stores.ebay.com.au/glenoraheritageproduce. The auction will run from 9am Monday, 23 to 3.30pm Sunday 30 October
concluding at the end of the Barn Raising Lunch.

Everyone will have the opportunity to bid on a selection of “once in a lifetime” food, wine, travel, accommodation lots
(George Biron is offering lunch for 10 people at his Kyneton home, Bass Phillip is offering a dozen premium pinot).
